There were three of us here to eat. Very nice staff, small but fine menu. The breaded pork schnitzel with farmer's bread was infinitely delicious - I don't know when I've already eaten such a juicy, delicious schnitzel. The tarte flambée were also first class. We recommend.

Kappelrodeck, the village of the Hex of Dasenstein, the famous - and wonderful tasting - Burgundy wine. The Alde Brennküch is a small tavern on the market square. Homely half-timbered ambience. Very inviting the decoration of the outdoor area in summer. Very cozy atmosphere also inside. Well-kept beers and a small but fine menu complete the whole thing. The chef cooks himself and the landlady takes care of the guests. So, if you are hungry for a Strasbourg sausage salad, Tarte Flambée, Bibbeleskäs or even a tender beef steak, you are in very good hands.

I like this cafe very much, the seating on the street is surrounded by a "fence" of plants, a fountain and water in a small artificial channel are near. Children play with water while waiting for their order.
